  2. Physical Activity: Weight-bearing exercises and strength training can strengthen bones and improve balance.

  3. Lifestyle Choices: Avoid smoking and limit alcohol consumption.

  4. Medications: In some cases, healthcare providers may prescribe medications to slow bone loss or increase bone density.

  5. Bone Density Testing: Regular bone density scans (DEXA scans) help monitor bone health.

  6. Fall Prevention: Taking steps to prevent falls, such as removing tripping hazards at home and using assistive devices, can reduce fracture risk.
