iMRS Prime — PEMF + Far Infrared, in One Session

Most clinics offer PEMF or far infrared. At ISOMATIC they come from the same system, at the same time. You lie on the iMRS Prime mat by Swiss Bionic, and it delivers both: pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy through the mat, and far infrared warmth from carbon fibre applicators built into it. Nothing to wear, nothing to hold, no effort on your part.

Two therapies, one mat

PEMF sends gentle magnetic pulses through the body at the frequencies your cells already work in (0.5–25 Hz, a triple sawtooth waveform, at low intensity). The aim is simple: support circulation, recovery, and the body’s own repair processes.
Far infrared is warmth that works from the inside out. A regular heating pad heats the skin and stops there; far infrared is absorbed roughly 2–3 inches deep, so the warming effect reaches the tissue underneath and lasts after the session ends.

What a session feels like

You lie down on the mat, fully clothed, and rest. Most people describe it as deeply relaxing — many fall asleep. A session is quiet, comfortable, and needs no recovery time; you get up and carry on with your day.

How we use it at ISOMATIC

At our Danforth location, the iMRS Prime mat is part of the treatment room, not a gadget on a shelf. In our metabolic sessions it runs underneath you while the HANA laser works overhead — PEMF, far infrared, and laser together, in one visit. Your clinician decides where it fits in your plan after your assessment; it supports the work, it doesn’t replace it.

One honest note

PEMF and far infrared are support therapies. They are not a cure, and we won’t promise one. What we can say: the technology has decades of research behind it, and the iMRS system is approved by Health Canada for temporary relief of minor aches and pains and to increase local blood circulation.
