About Naturopathy

Naturopathic Medicine is for people who care about their health. It’s for the people who want to be active participants in their lives and who are ready to become the best version of themselves. Rather than passively accepting unnecessarily harsh conventional treatments, these kinds of people know that most health problems begin with simple basics involving our habits and disposition towards life. They value natural methods in order to correct health issues and to achieve balance in their bodies and in their minds. They find fulfillment in working with knowledgeable health practitioners and take pride in their efforts and accomplishments.

What is a Naturopathic Doctor

Naturopathic medicine is comprised of several natural modalities, including nutritional medicine, botanical medicine, physical therapy, acupuncture, and psychological counselling. From these different perspectives, each patient is analyzed with respect to the reason that they are seeking help, as well as for any related or unrelated issues that may not be obvious. Naturopathic medicine is built on the foundation of “doing no harm”, of “doctor as teacher”, and finally on the idea of working with the body to aid and invigorate the natural tendency of your body to heal. It’s a good feeling to know that we have an all natural option to pharmaceutical drugs that is easy, readily available and effective.

Benefits of Naturopathy

Naturopath designs a treatment plan using whichever combination of modalities that best suits the individual’s problems. Common problems that are treated include muscle/joint pain, digestive/elimination issues, mood difficulties, weight loss, high blood pressure/cholesterol, fatigue, diabetes and much more.
